04 — Transparent pricing

Stop asking “how much will this cost?”Start seeing what changes the cost.

One wardrobe, four decisions. Toggle any of them and watch the estimate move — this is the same calculation the full configurator runs, on the same specification.

Every figure here is produced by the same engine that prices a real configuration — not written into the copy.

Reference specification

05 — Two ways to build

Carpenter made, or factory modular.

Most platforms sell you whichever one they own a factory for. Both routes are offered here, priced on the same specification, so the decision is about your site and your timeline rather than about someone else’s equipment.

Carpenter Made

Built at your site. · 18–25 days on site

  • +Changes can be made while the work is happening
  • +Handles walls that are out of square or out of plumb
  • +Every individual material is yours to choose
  • +Traditional plywood construction, familiar to any future carpenter
  • +No module size limits — one continuous run is possible

Trade-offs

  • −Dust and noise on site for the duration
  • −Edge banding applied by hand, usually on visible edges only
  • −Finish quality tracks the individual carpenter

Factory Modular

Machined in a factory. Assembled at your site. · 12–18 days, of which 2–3 on site

  • +Panel sizes cut to ±0.2 mm on a beam saw
  • +Edge banding on all four sides of every panel
  • +Line drilling to a 32 mm system — shelves are repositionable later
  • +Two to three days of site work instead of three weeks
  • +Repeatable across units, which matters on rollouts

Trade-offs

  • −Dimensions are frozen once panels are cut
  • −Needs accurate site measurement before production starts
  • −Modules must fit through the door and the lift

07 — For professionals

Send the drawing. We’ll price the materials and the execution.

Architects, designers, contractors and rollout teams work from a BOQ, not a configurator. Upload it and get back a structured quote that separates materials, fabrication, installation and logistics — with the brands named, so it can be checked line by line against your own estimate.

08 — How it works

01

Configure

Build the specification yourself and watch the estimate move. No form, no callback, no waiting.

02

Verify

Send it in. Site measurement and live material rates turn the estimate into a fixed quotation with a written scope.

03

Fabricate

Materials are drawn from EightByFour supply and worked either at your site or in the factory — whichever you chose.

04

Install

Fitted, aligned and handed over, with the material record attached to the same order.

What we will and won’t claim

Named materials

Every quote names the board, the laminate and the hardware — brand, grade and thickness. Nothing is described only as “premium”.

Separated pricing

Material, fabrication, installation and delivery are priced apart, so you can see what you're paying for labour versus what you're paying for sheets.

Catalogue-sourced

Materials come through the same EightByFour supply the shop runs on, from manufacturers already stocked for Hyderabad sites.

Written scope

What is included, what is excluded and what is provisional is stated on the quote before work starts.

Milestone records

Key stages — material despatch, fabrication, installation — are recorded against the job rather than left to memory.

One trail

Materials and services sit on the same order, so there is a single record for the sheets and the labour that used them.

Studio EightxFour is new. There are no project counts, warranty periods or certifications quoted on this page, because none have been established yet — what is claimed above is only what the platform actually does today.

What are you building?

Studio EightxFour

The materials come from the same place the studio builds with.

Every board, laminate and hinge on a Studio quote is a product you can open in the EightByFour catalogue and price yourself. That is the whole idea — the material does not disappear inside the quotation.
