Corian Price in Hyderabad
₹500/sq.ft across 62 priced products from 3 brands, excluding GST.
Corian is DuPont's trademark for acrylic solid surface — the seamless, sandable counter material with the integrated sink. In the Indian trade the name is used loosely for the whole category, the way a photocopy gets called a Xerox.
EightByFour stocks acrylic solid surface in the same material class — Durasein, Tiara and Vivanta — rather than DuPont-branded Corian. The table below shows those ranges with live per-sheet rates. If a project specification names Corian specifically, tell us and we will source against that requirement.
As with any solid surface, the per sq.ft rate is the start of the number. A finished counter — run length, sink cut-outs, edge build-up, any curved section — is quoted against the drawing.

Solid surface vs granite vs quartz vs laminate counter
For a kitchen or vanity counter the four options are not close substitutes — they differ on seams, repair and heat before they differ on price.
| Material | Seams | Repairable on site | Heat | Relative cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Acrylic solid surface | Joined invisibly — one continuous surface, integrated sink | Yes — sanded out, no replacement | Trivets needed; scorches under a hot pan | Mid-high |
| Granite | Visible seams; slab-size limited | No — a chip or crack is permanent | Excellent — takes a hot pan directly | Mid |
| Quartz (engineered stone) | Visible seams | No | Good, not unlimited — resin can mark | High |
| Laminate counter (post-formed) | Visible joins; edge is the weak point | No — swells once the edge lets water in | Poor | Lowest |
Solid surface wins where a seamless run, an integrated sink or a curved edge is the point. Granite wins on raw heat resistance and outright cost. Pick the counter for the job, not the showroom sample.
Where each option belongs
Kitchen countertops
The main use, and the one that justifies the cost: a seamless run with an integrated sink and no grout line to fail. Specify the bendable grade where the design has a curved edge or a waterfall end.
Bathroom vanity tops
A one-piece top with a moulded basin and coved upstand — nothing for water to get behind. This is where solid surface outlasts a stone top with a drop-in bowl.
Reception and commercial counters
Long runs joined invisibly, back-lit panels, and a surface that can be sanded back to new after years of use rather than replaced.
Where granite is the better call
A budget-led kitchen, or one where hot pans land straight on the counter. Solid surface needs trivets; granite does not.

Frequently asked questions
What does Corian cost in Hyderabad?
DuPont-branded Corian is sourced to order against a specification. The acrylic solid surfaces we stock as standard — Durasein, Tiara, Vivanta — are the same material class and their live per-sheet rates are in the table above; the finished counter is quoted against your drawing.
Is Corian the same as acrylic solid surface?
Corian is one brand of acrylic solid surface — DuPont's. The material category is the same across brands: an acrylic-and-mineral sheet that joins invisibly and can be sanded and repaired on site.
Do you sell genuine DuPont Corian?
We stock Durasein, Tiara and Vivanta as standard. If a project specifies DuPont Corian by name, we will source it against that requirement rather than substitute without telling you.
Why is a Corian-style counter more expensive than granite?
The sheet is comparable; the fabrication is not. Seamless joins, a moulded sink and a coved upstand are labour that a granite slab with a drop-in bowl does not need. You pay for the seamlessness.
