Baltic Birch Plywood is built from thin, uniform layers of birch veneer with a completely void-free core — no gaps and no overlapping between layers, so glue coverage runs full face to back. That construction gives it a few practical advantages over standard plywood: • Superior screw and nail holding, since threads bite into solid veneer rather than a softer core • Strong, consistent bonding that holds up well under repeated moisture exposure • A clean, void-free edge that can be left exposed and simply sanded, without needing edge tape • Fully calibrated for a smooth, wave-free surface — ideal as a base under laminate or veneer • Natural resistance to borer and termite damage • Well suited to CNC cutting, laser engraving, and detailed joinery work Commonly used for furniture, cabinetry, die boards, engineered flooring underlayment, and toy and packaging production. Imported directly from Russia and the Baltic region, graded to GOST standards.
