Grade is the single biggest driver of plywood price, and it is set by the adhesive and the boil test the sheet passes — not by the brand's marketing name for the range.

Drawer bottoms
6mm grooved into the drawer box is standard. Use BWP in kitchen and bathroom drawers regardless of what the carcass is.
Cabinet backs
6mm pinned to the back of a wall-fixed carcass. Move to 12mm where the cabinet is free-standing or the back takes a fixing.
Panel infills and shutter inserts
6mm behind a fluted or louvered face, and for infill panels inside a framed shutter.
False ceiling and curved work
6mm bends around a former for curved fascias and bulkheads where thicker sheets crack.
